Funeral was held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 21st at the First Baptist Church of Decatur with Rev. Ken May officiating. Interment: Oaklawn Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Jimmy Boggess, Mel Reynolds, Chuck Reynolds, Brad Reynolds, Leddy Foster and Cason Caraway.
Burrell was born on April 1, 1929 in Goldthwaite, Texas to Lloyd and Alta Zelda (Cline) Reynolds. He was united in marriage to Virginia Mae Collins in 1954 in Arlington, Texas. Burrell retired from Bell Helicopter after 35 years of service. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
Left behind to cherish his memory are daughter, Denise Hudson and husband Charles of Decatur; son, Doug Reynolds and wife Tamara of Decatur; sisters, Leatha Farrington of Abilene and Marie Boggess and husband C.B. of Arlington; 4 brothers, Melvin Reynolds and wife Jo of Gilmer, Texas, Charles Reynolds and wife Elizabeth of Arlington, Jackie Reynolds and wife Linda of Abilene and Earl Wayne Reynolds and wife Normajo of Goldthwaite; 5 grandchildren, Brittany and J.W. Hudson, Tara Pittman, Kealey Gavit, and Chad Reynolds; 4 great-grandchildren, Katelynn Hudson, Keara and Colton Pittman, Jayden Reynolds; and numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
Burrell is preceded in death by parents; wife, Ginger Reynolds; son, Duwayne Reynolds; grandson, Justin Reynolds; and brothers, Walter Cline, Harold Lloyd, and Noel Windel Reynolds.
