C. Bob Haley

Memorial service is 2 p.m. Thursday, August 26th at the First United Methodist Church of Decatur with Reverends Roy Spore, Johnny Irish and Cliff McNeely officiating. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.

Bob was born October 24, 1940 in Crockett, Texas to Thomas Calvin and Eugenia Sledge Haley. He married Barbara Jean Frost Haley on June 2, 1990. Bob was a mechanic contractor and retired from T.D. Industries of Dallas, Texas after 30 years of service. He was a member of the Associated Builders & Contractors and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Decatur.

Left behind to cherish his memory are wife, Barbara Haley; two daughters, Frieda Hanley and husband, Scotty Ray and Elizabeth Beaver all of Decatur; two stepdaughters, Stacy McNeely and husband, Cliff of Grapevine, Susan Thomas and husband, Rusty of Sanger; nine grandchildren, Ryan and Evan Davis, Haden Davis, Joey Laremore, Davin Beaver, Trevor and Regan McNeely, Rylee and Jackson Thomas; sister, Nina Hooks of Colmesneil, Texas; and niece, Cathy Wheatley and husband, Mike of Jasper, Texas.

Bob was preceded in death by his first wife, Claudine Robinson Haley in 1989; parents, three brothers, Leonard B., Jack Colman and Calvin Haley and sister, Clara Cook.
