Newark ~ C.G. Watson, 86, a self employed small motor repairman, went to be with our Lord Thursday, November 3, 2011 in Decatur.
Graveside service is 2 p.m. Sunday, November 6, 2011 at Aurora Cemetery. Family will receive friends 4-6 p.m. Saturday at Christian-Hawkins Funeral Home in Boyd.
Bro. Eddie Montgomery will officiate.
C.G. was born on August 25, 1925 to Everett and Sally (Reese) Watson in Tom Bean, Texas. He married Virginia on November 27, 1952 in Sherman. She preceded him in death in June 2005. C.G. served his country in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Boyd. Those left behind to cherish his memory are his daughters, Jerhea Nail and husband Jim of Aurora, and Marquita Pack and husband Britt of Boyd; his grandchildren, Farah Nail, and Michael Nail and wife Briana of Bowie; his great grandchildren, Trevor, Olivia, Jordan, and Jaylen all of Aurora; his brother, E.C. Watson, Jr. of Bells, Texas; several nieces and nephews; other family members and a host of friends.
