With butterflies resting ever so gently on her shoulders and the peacefulness of her laying there, they gently took our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and dear friend home to watch over her loved ones until we see her again,,,
Rhome ~ Callie David, 66, went to be with our Lord Thursday, January 5, 2017 in Decatur.
Memorial is 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 13, 2017 at Ramada Inn in Decatur.
Callie was born on December 7, 1950 to Joe and Julia (Alexander) Watson in South Carolina. She was united in marriage to Tommy David on July 1, 1984 in Dallas. Callie was an auditor for Ramada Inn.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, her brother.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 33 years, Tommy David of Rhome; her daughter, Christina Johnson of Minnesota; her sons, Leonard Johnson of Rhome, Larry Johnson and wife Cathy of Boyd, Lonnie Johnson and wife Terri of Krum; her grandchildren, Joseph, Callie Marie Johnson and Dakota Johnson; 2 great grandchildren; her sister, Libby Leffingwell and husband Fred; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the ASPCA or and organization of their choice.
The family would like to express our sincere appreciation to the doctors and staff of Wise County Health Care System for their care and support during this most difficult time.
