Callie Ann (Shepard) Slagle

Decatur ~ Callie Ann Slagle, 77, of Decatur went to be with her Lord Wednesday, May 29, 2024 in Decatur, Texas.

Family visitation will be 6 - 8 p.m. Friday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.

Callie was born June 28, 1946 to Ollie V. and Dona (Fitzgerald) Shepard in Wichita Falls, Texas. She graduated from Paradise High School and married William Lee Slagle on May 2, 1969 in Hurst, Texas. They were married 50 years till his passing in 2020. Callie was a retired loan officer for numerous different banks in Wise County throughout her career. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Those left behind to cherish her memory is daughter, Lara Hotz and husband Randy with children Ben, Blake, and Sidney Shotwell; her daughter, Holly Tucker and husband Lee, and their children Addison and Payton Tucker; her brother, Bobby Shepard and husband Jason Jones; numerous extended family and a host of friends.
