Rhome ~ Calvin R. Perkins, 65, of Rhome, went to be with his Lord, Saturday, November 21, 2015 at his home in Rhome.
Funeral service is 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Aurora Cemetery. Brother Windell Splawn will officiate. Family will receive friends 6 - 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Rev. Windall Splawn will officiate. Pallbearers include Robert Baker, Todd Lillard, Shannon Lillard, Gerald Burchett, Michael Burchett, Jonathan Perkins, and Joshua Perkins.
Calvin was born October 15, 1950 at his childhood home in Justin, Texas to Francis Taylor and Essie Pearl (Roy) Perkins. He married Alice Pearce on September 28, 1973 in Roanoke, Texas.
Left behind to cherish his memory is his wife, Alice Perkins of Rhome; son, Craig Perkins and wife Tina of Fort Worth; 3 sisters, Nadine Baker of Justin, Faye Snyder of Arlington, Washington, and Lanell Burchett of Gainesville; brother, Marvin Perkins of Sanger; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
Calvin was preceded in death by his parents.
