Calvin Smith

Aurora ~ Calvin Smith, 87, went to be with our Lord Monday, January 10, 2021 in Watauga, Texas.

Graveside Service is 10:30 a.m. Friday, January 15, 2021 at Aurora Cemetery.

Mike Boaldin will officiate.

Calvin was born October 26, 1933 to Charles and Christine (Stephons) Smith in Carrizo Springs, Texas. He graduated Northwest High School and was a retired carpenter. Calvin was a member of Newark Church of Christ.

He was united in marriage August 26, 1957 to Mary Jo Rhodes in Weatherford, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Christine Smith; his wife of 56 years, Mary Jo Smith; and 5 brothers.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his daughter, Casey Austin of Colorado Springs, Colorado; his son, Clayt Smith of Ardmore, Oklahoma; his grandsons, Cooper Smith and John Ralls; his sister, Shirley Smith; numerous extended family and a host of friends.
