Carla Jean (Campbell) Barton

Newark ~ Carla Campbell Barton, 51, a customer service manager, went to be with our Lord Saturday, May 30, 2020 in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Graveside service is 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 5, 2020 at Ash Creek Cemetery in Azle.  Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday, June 4, 2020 at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.

Cody Joplin will officate.

Carla was born on June 14, 1968 to Jimmie and Shirley (Temple) Campbell in Fort Worth, Texas. She was united in marriage to Johnny Barton on May 23, 1986 in Azle. Carla was a dedicated manager for Subway.  She loved to spend time and play with her grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Johnny.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughters, Sherry Tidwell and husband Derek of Springtown and Stasie White of Decatur; her son Scott Barton of Jacksboro; her grandchildren, Colin, Aaron, Jayden, Landon, Skylar and Jaxson; her sisters, Mary Brooks of Bowie and Katie Campbell of Bowie; her brothers, Jimmy Campbell of Jacksboro and Robert Campbell of Arkansas;  numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
