Carlene Morehead

Paradise ~ Carlene Morehead, 79, a retired x-ray technician, went to be with our Lord Wednesday, March 9, 2016 in Decatur.

Funeral is 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 13, 2016 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Paradise Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Ren Young and Rev. Corbin Young will officiate. Pallbearers include Dave Hillary, Eric Hillary, Morgan Yocum, Cody Lewis, Kainen Nelms, Michael Tittor, Adam Tittor, and Brandon Tittor.

Carlene was born on November 19, 1936 to Carlton and Magella (Elam) Niblett in Paradise, Texas. She was united in marriage to Randall Morehead on October 7, 1960 in Weatherford. Carlene retired from Bridgeport Hospital as a radiologic technician. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Paradise.

Carlene was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Mark Morehead; her brother, Richey Niblett; and her grandson, Brandi O’Dell.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 55 years, Randall Morehead of Paradise; her daughters, Cindy Lewis of Paradise, Becky Wilson and husband David of Greenwood, Scotty Tittor and husband Paul of Paradise, and Susanna Eagan and husband Mike of Saginaw; 15 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; her sisters, Bobbie Badger and husband Eddie Lee of Decatur, Evelyn “Ann” Jones and husband Roy of Paradise, and Kathy Horton and husband Homer of Paradise; her brothers, Wayne Niblett and wife Ruth of Paradise, Don Niblett and wife Earlene of Decatur, and Lonnie Niblett and wife Margaret of Pickton; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
