Paradise ~ Carol Ann Florance, 71, a housewife, went to be with our Lord Saturday, October 15, 2011 at her home.
Memorial service is 2 p.m. Friday, October 21, 2011 at Hawkins Funeral Chapel in Bridgeport. Family will receive friends 1-2 p.m. Friday before the service at the funeral home.
Bro. Pete Putman will officiate.
Carol was born on November 29, 1939 to Clarence and Dorothy (Morris) Caine in Sydney, Nebraska. She married Kenneth Florance on September 25, 1959 in Kimball, Nebraska. Carol attended the Cates Street Church of Christ, was a member of the Sewing Circle at her church and she was also involved with the Wise County Quilt Guild.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 52 years, Ken Florance of Paradise; her daughter, Leslie LeeAnn Florance of Lewisville; her son, Bryan Lynn Florance of Denton; her sister, Janice Gumbir of Sterling, Colorado; other family members and a host of friends.
