Carolyn (Vaughn) Williamson

Jacksboro ~ Carolyn Vaughn Williamson, 77, a retired educational diagnostician, went to be with our Lord Wednesday, November 4, 2015 in Decatur.
Memorial service is 3:00 p.m. Sunday, November 8, 2015 at the Jacksboro Church of Christ. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service.
Bro. Jeff Sweeten will officiate.
Carolyn was born on February 15, 1938 to Sim and Audie (Hammonds) Vaughn in Erick, Oklahoma. She was united in marriage to Jerry Williamson on May 30, 1959 in Childress. Carolyn was amazingly accomplished when it came to her education level. She earned 3 master’s degrees. Carolyn was a member of the Jacksboro Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her sister, Genta Morren.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 56 years, Jerry Williamson of Jacksboro; her sons, Vaughn Williamson and wife Angela of Jacksboro, Rex Williamson and wife Lisa of Jacksboro; her daughter, Missy Bindseil and husband Ricky of Spicewood, Texas; her grandchildren, Rusty Williamson and wife Mindy, Kelsie Solimine and husband Chris, Christina Williamson, Austin Williamson, Cade Bindseil, and Emma Bindseil; her great-grandchildren, Brianna, Riley, and Korbin; her sister, Jane Wiemers and husband Wayne of Marfa, Texas; her brother-in-law, Perry Morren Sr.; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
