Chico ~ Carroll Glenn Moody, 61, a retired driller in the oilfield, went to be with our Lord Tuesday, February 28, 2012 in Denton.
Graveside service is 10 a.m. Friday, March 2, 2012 at Jim Ned Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport.
Bro. Donald McMaster will officiate. Pallbearers include Kenneth Thompson, Colby Moody, Billy Keith McDaniel, Larry Moody, Randy Vincent, and BJ Hood.
Glenn was born on May 7, 1950 to Louis and Nona (Boswell) Moody in Chico. He was a member of the Crafton Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Charles Glenn Moody; and his triplet sisters, Faye, Kay, and May Moody.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his daughters, Misty Kaiser and husband Robert of Bowie, Kelli Lavoie and husband Stan of Bowie; his son, Robert Moody of Bowie; 7 grandchildren; 5 brothers, James, Leon, Gene, Dale, and Shorty Moody; 8 sisters, Thelma Thompson, Rosie Thompson, Nora Hood, Hattie Hale, Doris Jenkins, Sherry Brown, Carandy Guinn, and Nancy McCasland; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
