Decatur: Catherine Louise Richter, 93, a lifelong resident of Decatur, died March 26, 2008 in Decatur.
Services are set for 2p.m. Saturday at the First United Methodist Church in Decatur. The Reverends Johnny Irish & Ken May will officiate. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Eric Seal, Ronnie Walker, Jim Henderson, Mickey Doyle, Thomas Kemp, Joe Neal Henderson, Rick Quiring and Melvin Sattawhite.
Catherine, born February 12, 1915, was a retired Decatur ISD secretary and a member of the First United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest W. Richter, her parents, Shelby F. and Virginia T Fowler, a brother and a sister.
Left behind to cherish her memories are: sons, Terry Richter and wife, Sue of Frisco and Dennis Richter and wife, Pat of Marshall; grandchildren, Cheryl Hendrix, Jeff Richter, Kim Richter and Shonnie Graham; 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Ruth Olsen of McAllen; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
