Chad Jerome Peek

Alvord~ Chad Jerome Peek, 47, went to be with our Lord on Sunday, June 26, 2022 in Alvord.

Chad was born on November 19, 1974 to Fred Charles and Carolann (Clower) Peek in Ft. Gordan, Georgia. He worked in the oilfield as a roustabout and was employed by Duncan Oilfield Company. Chad was united in marriage to Jody Kae (Coulson) Peek on April 4, 2014 in Decatur, Texas. Chad loved to spend time with his wife and his family and especially cherished his time with his kids. He enjoyed challenging them with projects or experiments. Chad loved to fish and did so every chance he could. He loved to outplay anyone he could in scrabble and his absolute most favorite activity and his proudest moments were spent watching his son play baseball. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, nephew, cousin, and more who will be dearly missed by those that knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Fred Charles Peek.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Jody Peek of Alvord; his children, Lily Zwahr, Charlie Peek and Callan Peek; his mother, Carolann Hyde; his sisters, Katie Jo Stewart and husband Rick, Kellyann McDonald and fiancé Ed Ross, and Jesse Higgins and fiancé John Traxler; his brother, Curtis Hyde; his uncle, Jerry Peek and wife Dodie; numerous cousins, extended family and friends.

Graveside Service will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 1, 2022 at Chico Cemetery. Shawn Humphries will officiate.
