Charles Thomas Brady

Boyd ~ Charles Thomas Brady, 79, went to be with our Lord Thursday, January 20, 2022 in Decatur.

Memorial service is 10:30 a.m. Monday, January 31, 2022 at First Baptist Church in Boyd.

Charles was born on November 7, 1942 to Robert Edward and Bonnie Katherine (Riley) Brady in Evansville, Indiana. He was united in marriage to Marlyn Gertrude Swindle on February 14, 1977 in Nashville, Tennessee. Charles proudly served our country in the United States Navy. He was beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Marlyn Brady of Boyd; his children, Dawn Honeycutt and James, Robin Leigh Felts and Barry, Chris Lance all of Tennessee, and Tracy Helton and Mark of Bowie; 5 grandchildren, Holly Lawhorn and Chad of Sunset, Heather Johnson and Josh of England, Brenden Helton and Kara of Burleson, B.J. Felts of Tennessee, and Kristina Hendrick and Justin of Tennessee; 4 great-grandchildren, Logan, Brady, Aiden, and Mason; his sister, Betty Hicks of Tennessee; other relatives and a host of friends.
