Charles Luther Brock

Funeral service is 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 10th at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel with Rick Ross officiating. Interment followed the service in Oaklawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Steve Brock, Chris Brock, Clint Skinner, Clifton Skinner, Josh Grohman, and Berl McCasland.

Charles was born January 24, 1933 in Decatur, Texas to Charles L. and Gertie Lee (Ford) Brock. He married Betty McCasland on October 24, 1952 in Decatur, Texas. Charles retired as parts manager for Wise Equipment of Decatur and served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a member of the Decatur Church of Christ.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 56 years, Betty Brock of Decatur, three daughters, Deborah McCullough and husband, Bobby of Decatur, Teresa Broach and husband, Joe of Decatur, Claressa Zoorob and husband, Adib of Murphy, Texas; son, Charles Brock and wife, Lydia of Decatur; 7 grandchildren, Charles, Chris, Clint, Clifton, Josh, Hannah, and George; 13 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Charles is preceded in death by parents and two brothers.
