Runaway Bay ~ Charles Wayne Lindop Sr., 81, a foreman, went to be with our Lord Tuesday, September 22, 2015 in Decatur.
Funeral is 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 24, 2015 at the First Baptist Church of Alvord with burial in Midlothian Cemetery. Family will receive friends 9 a.m. Thursday at the church.
Rev. Bill Cleveland will officiate.
Charles was born on December 3, 1933 to Lester and Grace (Mitchell) Lindop in Ovilla, Texas. He graduated from high school in the class of 1952. Charles retired as a foreman from Proctor & Gamble.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Peggy Jean Lindop in 2003; and his son, Johnny Lindop in 2008.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his brothers, Lester Lindop and wife Pat of Irving and Don Lindop and wife Ollive Lee of Ovilla; his son, Charles Wayne Lindop Jr.; several grandchildren; other family members and a host of friends.
