PARADISE -- Charles Preston Newsome, 69, a retired aircraft assembler for LTV,died Thursday, May 11, 2006 in Ft. Worth. Funeral: 11 a.m. Tuesday at Hawkins Funeral Chapel. Burial: Cottondale Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Mr. Newsome was a U.S. Airforce Veteran and had worked 30 years in the firewood business. Survivors: Wife of 51 years, Carol Newsome of Paradise; daughters, Shana Noe and husband, Ricky of Springtown, Charlotte Newsome, and Shelly Howard and husband, Alton all of Cottondale; grandchildren, Shawn, Chad and Sasha Noe and Dason Howard; great-grandchildren, Kaden and Kylie Noe; sister, Lawana Reeve of Arlington; and several nieces and nephews, including a special nephew, Kevin Smith and wife, Toi of Cottondale.
