Boyd ~ Charles “Chuck” Alan Overstreet, 64, went to be with our Lord Thursday, October 7, 2021 in Fort Worth.
Graveside Service will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at Garvin Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Boyd.
Rev. Brent Copeland will officiate. Pallbearers will include John Anderson, Tyler Overstreet, Sam Maurer, Chris Pyles, and Joe Joe Salvador.
Charles was born August 6, 1957 to Charles and Mary Sue (Kirk Ross) Overstreet in Yuma, Arizona. He was united in marriage to Sharon Langley on May 17, 2010 in Marietta, Oklahoma. Charles retired as VP of Underwood Tire and later went on to manage Lowes Grocery. He dearly loved his wife and children, and grandchildren, was a huge sports fan with the Cowboys at #1, and a big jokester. Chuck was a huge Elvis fan, loved sports cars, and making everyone laugh.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, Bobby Overstreet and Sammy (Dinky) Moore; and 2 sisters, Sandra Overstreet and Arlene Egger.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 11 years, Sharon Overstreet of Boyd; his children, Kathryn Pyles and husband Chris of Kennedale, Crystal Isaacs of Bethel, Oklahoma, Derrick Keilers and wife Chelle of Lufkin, Lauren Maurer and husband Sam of Fort Worth, Tyler Overstreet and Nia Kadriju of Sunset, Morgen Anderson and David Boston of Boyd, and John Anderson and Kiara Cook of Fort Worth, and Brittany Hanks and husband Marvin of Ennis, Texas; his brothers, David Overstreet and wife Karen of Fate, Texas, Randy Overstreet of Terry, Mississippi; 21 grandchildren, Maggie, Maddie, Layne, Landon, Levi, Haden, Avery, Charlotte, Chase, Ally, Ava, Olivia, James, Gracie, Carter, Caleb, Haley, Megan, Grace, Abigail, and Jordan; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
In lieu of flowers please consider assisting the family with the costs of caring for Charles at this time.
