BOYD-Charles Ray Roberts, 68, a retired auto dealer went to be with our Lord Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at his home.
Funeral: 2:00 p.m. Friday in the Christian-Hawkins Funeral Chapel. Burial: Boyd Cemetery. Visitation 6-8 p.m. at Christian-Hawkins Funeral Home in Boyd. Officiating is Reverend Kelly Roberts.
Pallbearers: Kyle Roberts, Tyler Tucker, Caleb Tucker, Josh Henson, Harold Williams and Danny Vincent.
Charles was born Ocotber 13, 1941 to Buck and Lorene (Frachiseur) Roberts in Sugden, Oklahoma. He married Leta Chance on January 16, 2005 in Weatherford, Texas. Charles was a member of the American Quater Horse Association.
He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter; Angela Brazil and brother; Jackie Roberts.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife Leta of Boyd, sons; Michael Roberts and wife Theresa of Aledo, Cody Ray Roberts and wife Christina of Las Vegas, Nevada, Michael Heath Glass and wife Kim of Boyd, daughters; Tammy Tucker and husband Randy of Wortham, Cindy Mears of Azle, and Cory Arnold and husband Trey of Colorado, 15 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, brother; David Roberts of Waurika, Oklahoma, sisters; Melba Stone of Ardmore, Oklahoma, Nanci Swindle of Watauga,and numerous nieces and nephews.
