Charles "Buddy" Wayne Head

Decatur ~ Charles Wayne Head, 80, a retired freight inspector, went to be with our Lord Monday, March 18, 2019 in Decatur.

Memorial visitation is 1-3 p.m. Friday, April 19, 2019, at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Decatur.

Charles was born February 23, 1939 to Thomas and Lilla (Tidwell) Head. He was united in marriage December 7, 1979 to Deborah Ann Barnett in Durant, Oklahoma. Charles proudly served our country in the United States Army.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and 4 brothers.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 39 years, Debbie Head of Decatur; his son, Jeremy Head and wife Isabel of Aledo; his daughter, Shauna Canales and husband Joe of Franklin; his grandchildren, Adan, Makayla, Taylor, and Gabbie; his great-grandchild, Nathan; his sister, Myrtle Jo of Virginia; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
