Charley Dean Hill

Graveside service is 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 10, 2012 at Boyd Cemetery in Boyd. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Christian-Hawkins Funeral Home in Boyd.

Rev. Mark Autry will officiate. Pallbearers include Thomas Lambert, J.R. Lambert, Glenn Albritton, John Albino, Alex Edwards, and Michael Taylor. Honorary pallbearers are Russell Peebles, Danny Lambert, and Johnny Hill.

Charley was born on June 7, 1956 to Charley and Barbara (Stanford) Hill in Lake Worth, Texas. He was a technician manager with Dish Network and a proud veteran of the United States Navy.

Charley is preceded in death by his father, Charley Odell Hill; his brother, Tony Hill; his grandparents, Joe and Ethel Stanford; and his aunt, Martha Stanford.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his mother, Barbara Hill of Boyd; his son, Casey Hill of Boyd; his daughter, Toni Mechelle Hill of Houston; his granddaughter, Karoline Kay Rogerson of Houston; his fiance, Maylis Taylor of Boyd; his aunts, Mae Bolton of Jacksonville, Florida and Lavada Johnson of Love,Texas; his uncles, Wayne Stanford and wife Joy of Gilmer and James Stanford and wife Willie Mae of Ft. Worth; other family members and a host of friends.

I send my condolences to the Hill family for the loss of a very good man and boss.
I had the great pleasure of working with him for about 4 years.
