Rhome: Chelsea Ann Lunt, 16, a student of Decatur High School, went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, January 21, 2009 in Decatur.
Funeral service is 10 a.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church in Decatur with the Reverend Ken May officiating. Interment will follow the service at Oaklawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the First Baptist Church in the auditorium.
Pallbearers are Alec Torres, Dillon Quinn, Brett Harrison, C.J. Summers, Burl Cash and Coach David Park.
Chelsea was born August 30, 1992 in San Jose, California to Victor Lunt and Kelly Monroe Norris. As an active sophmore at Decatur High School, Chelsea competed on the varsity volleyball and track teams.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her parents, Joey and Kelly Norris of Rhome; grandparents, Larry and Karen Monroe of Hollister, California, Dean and Mary Halverson of LaPine, Oregon, Gerald Norris of Euless, Texas; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends.
Chelsea is preceded in death by her Granny Anne Norris.
