Decatur ~ Cheryl Buchanan, 70, went to be with our Lord Friday, June 28, 2019 in Ruidoso, New Mexico.
Memorial service is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.
Bro. Phillip Askey will officiate.
Cheryl was born on January 14, 1949 to T.D. and Billye (Reed) Horton in Marlin, Texas. She was united in marriage to Clifford Buchanan on August 18, 1979 in Arlington. Cheryl co-owned and worked alongside her husband at their family’s dairy farm before retiring to enjoy life.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her son, Justin Buchanan.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 39 years, Clifford Buchanan of Decatur; her 2 daughters, Lisa Neaves and husband Jesse of Weatherford, Cheri Boyd and husband Derrick of Decatur; her 5 granddaughters, Whitley Boesplug and husband Kyle, Ashtyn Bell, Emily, Ainsley, and Finley Boyd all of Decatur; her great grandchild, Everly Rose Boesplug; her brother, Wayne Norris and wife Debbie of Fort Worth; numerous extended family, and a host of friends.
