Rhome: Cheryl Diane Trussell McGuire, 54, a housewife, went to be with our Lord Sunday, December 5, 2010 in Grapevine after a long battle with cancer.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Cheryl was born September 24, 1956 to Euel Alton and Maudie Louada (Harris) Trussell in Fort Worth. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Regina Lynn Trussell; her nephew, Richard Eugene Trussell; her grandparents; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sister, Brenda McGuire of Rhome; brothers, Eugene Trussell and wife Penny of Fairhope, Alabama, Charles Trussell and wife Danielle of North Richland Hills, Frankie Dewayne Schoonover and wife Sherry of Springtown; 3 step grandchildren; 4 step great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; extended family members; other relatives and a host of friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Solaris Hospice in Decatur. A special thanks from the family to all of the nurses and aides with Solaris. They provided wonderful care and comfort to Cheryl and her family. Their address is Solaris Hospice, 2250 FM 51 Suite 400, Decatur, TX 76234.
