Azle: Chris Norwood, 22, a construction worker, went to be with our Lord Saturday, September 11, 2010 in Boyd.

Funeral: 10 a.m. Saturday at Christian-Hawkins Funeral Home with burial in Azleland Memorial Park in Azle. Visitation: 6-8 PM Friday at the funeral home.

The Reverend Gary Sessions to officiate. Pallbearers: Marcus Norwood, Joshua Crisp, Trent Wilson, Chris McCaleb, Matt Oliver, Brian Wheeler, Brent McBride, William Owen, Jeffery Hilz and Christopher Dale Hilz.

Chris was born July 1, 1988 in Dallas, Texas.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Ashley Nicole Norwood of Azle; daughters, Alyssa and Alexis Norwood of Azle; parents, A.J. and Karen Norwood of Azle, Toni Hilz and husband Darrell of Wylie; grandparents, Leon and Rita Crisp of Bedford; great grandparents, Leroy and Juanita Johnson of Bedford, Vinnie Crisp of Lubbock; brothers, Marcus Norwood of Texarkana, Jeffrey Hilz, Christopher Dale Hilz, Timothy Hilz, Jason R. Norwood, all of Lawton, OK and Joshua Alan Crisp of Bedford; aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews; other relatives and a host of friends.
