Newark: Christine Boaldin, 84, went to be with our Lord, Monday, June 17, 2013 in Decatur.
Funeral service is 10 a.m. Thursday, June 20th at Newark Church of Christ in Newark with Mike and Bobby Boaldin officiating. Interment: Dido Cemetery in Fort Worth, Texas. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.
Pallbearers include Jason Boaldin, Sammy Wager, Sean Boaldin, Nathan Boaldin, Grant Jones, Daniel Perkins and Trenton Boaldin.
Christine was born May 4, 1929 in Wills Point, Texas to James Oliver and Lillie Mae (Gammon) Massey. She was united in marriage to Emory Everett Boaldin, Jr. on December 24, 1949 in Fort Worth and was married 62 years at his death on October 26, 2012. Christine is also preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers. She was a member of Newark Church of Christ for 54 years.
Left behind to cherish her memory are three sons, James Russell Boaldin and wife, Debbie of Denton, Michael Wayne Boaldin and wife, Janice of Newark, and Bobby Brent Boaldin and wife, Michelle of North Little Rock, Arkansas; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
