SPRINGTOWN -- Clara "Kelly" Laxton, 66, a homemaker, died Thursday, Jan. 18, 2007, in Springtown. Memorial service: 10 a.m. Saturday at Hawkins Funeral Chapel. Mrs. Laxton was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, James Troy Laxton; parents, Bernice Avery, Sr.. and Lillian Dunbar Kelly; sons, John Troy and Joseph Todd Laxton; and brother, Bernice Avery Kelly, Jr. Survivors: son, James T. Laxton and wife, Sandra; granddaughter, Ashley Laxton, all of Frisco; cousins, Pat Tong, Sandra Cobb, Kay Swindford and Genie Perkins; nieces, Debbie Kelly, Anita France, Regina Hopkins, Margaret Oliver and Shannon Hamilton; and a host of friends.
