BRIDGEPORT: Claranell Breeze, 76, a co-owner of HRB Operating went to be with our Lord April 22, 2010 in Bridgeport.
FUNERAL: 2 p.m. Sunday at Hawkins Chapel, Bridgeport. Interment: East Bridgeport Cemetery. Visitation: 5-7 p.m. Saturday.
Rev. Sonny Cole to officiate. Pallbearers: Marten Herrera, Cristian Salgdo, Cameron Starnes, Jessie Salgado, Justen Starnes, Gregg Blount. Honorary pallbearers: Nicholas Starnes, Warren Blount, Chris Parker, Eric Broberg and Chris Romines.
Claranell was born on July 11, 1933 to Bryan and Hattie Cook Dennis in Capps Corner, Texas. She married Preston Breeze on June 30, 1951 in Saint Jo. and was co-owner of HRB Operating Company, Inc. in Bridgeport where she worked until shortly before her passing. She and Preston spent 56 years together until his passing on their anniversary June 30, 2007. They were reunited on the morning of April 22, 2010 when she went to be with the Lord. Claranell was a member of Cates Street Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband Preston Breeze, daughter Jean Blount, sister Arlene Corley, brothers, Davis Dennis, Rayburn Dennis and Billy Bryan Dennis.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are 2 sons, Ronnie Breeze and wife Glenda of Runaway Bay, Billy Jack Breeze and wife Lisa of Runaway Bay; daughter, Delores (Dodie) Breeze of Bridgeport; 10 granddaughters, 23 great grandchildren; sisters, Viola Busby and husband Larry of Saint Jo, 2 brothers; Syl Dennis of Bridgeport, Richard Dennis of Dallas; sister-in-laws, Helen Dennis, Delores Kurnette, Peggy Breeze, Ruby Vanderbener; numerous extended family and a host of friends.
