Clarence William Pennartz

Decatur ~ Clarence William Pennartz, 83, a retired dairy farmer, went to be with our Lord Monday, July 3, 2017 in Decatur.

Funeral is 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 8, 2017 at Assumption of The Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church with burial in Oaklawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday with 7:00 p.m. Rosary at the funeral home.

Father Thomas Dsouza will officiate. Pallbearers include Trey Penny, Garrett Penny, Kase Pennartz, Blayne Pennartz, Luc Gaucher, Rayce Pennartz and Colin Gaucher.

Clarence was born on May 29, 1934 to Albert and Irene (Berend) Pennartz in Windthorst, Texas. He was united in marriage to Lillian Decker on October 2, 1965 in Rhineland, Texas. Clarence was a Dairy Farmer for over 45 years. He was a member of the Assumption of The Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Decatur.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Irene; his sister, Alice Pennartz Wilde; his grandchildren, Kaden Pennartz and Lily Pennartz.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 52 years, Lillian Pennartz of Decatur; his daughters, Ann Penny and husband Lindsey of Decatur, Mary Gaucher and husband Daniel of Kennebunk, Maine, Gayle Goudarzi and husband Shawn of Aubrey, Texas; his sons, Tony Pennartz and wife Shelley of Alvord, Bryan Pennartz and wife Nikki of Nashville, Tennessee, Craig Pennartz and wife Melissa of Windthorst, Darrin Pennartz and wife Becky of Carrollton, Chris Pennartz and wife Erin of Denton; 21 grandchildren; his brother, Julius Pennartz of Rhineland; his sisters, Virginia Redder of Fort Worth, Ruth Redder of Rhineland, Ethel Pennartz of Decatur, Dorothy Pennartz of Decatur, Claudia Carnahan of Arlington; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
