Jacksboro ~ Clarence Lee Pitts, 79, went to be with our Lord Sunday, December 25, 2022 in Jacksboro.

Graveside Service is 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 30, 2022 at Willow Point Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport.

Rev. Sonny Smith will officiate.

Pallbearers are to include Heath Boswell, Kelly Boswell, Coby Jones, Trevor Pitts, Yank Worthington, and Doyle Worthington.

Clarence was born on September 7, 1943 to Everett and Myrtle (Morgan) Pitts in Jacksboro. He was united in marriage to Elaine Pitts on June 22, 1965 in Bridgeport . Clarence was a retired production supervisor at Enserch Exploration. He proudly served our country in the United States Army. Clarence was a beloved father, grandfather, and a friend.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Elaine Pitts; 2 sisters, Gene and Mae; and his brother, Carlos Pitts.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his son, Roy Justin Pitts of Willow Point; his daughter, Christie Pitts Rhine and husband Bret of Decatur; 7 grandchildren, Bogie, Trevor, Coby, Justin, Clayton, Shani, and Hannah; numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
