Claude "Butch" Foster Coble, Jr.

Chico ~ Claude Foster “Butch” Coble, 76, went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 in Decatur.

Memorial to celebrate his life will be held on September 10, 2022 at First Baptist Church, Decatur, Texas.  Visitation will be held at 2:00 p.m. with service beginning at 3:00 p.m.

Butch was born on October 7, 1945 to Claude Coble, Sr.  and Ema (Wester) in Fort Worth, Texas. He was united in marriage to the love of his life Laura Pafford on August 6, 1965, they have four beautiful daughters, Tiffany, Stephanie, Melissa, and Claudette. Butch retired after 42 years from Lockheed Martin in Fort Worth as a machine tool repairman. He loved spending time with his family, fishing, woodworking, restoring and working on classic cars, loved raising his cattle and farm life. He was a master mason for 50 years and a member of the First Baptist Church in Decatur. Butch was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Nita Carolyn Bandy.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 57 years, Laura Coble of Chico; his daughters, Tiffany Jackson and husband Calvin of Decatur, Stephanie Day and husband Billy of Decatur, Melissa Washburn and husband Joshua of Justin, and Claudette Morganthaler and husband Cody of Edmond, OK; his six grandchildren, Cooper, Tannor, Dalton, Hudson, Ema, and Zoey; his sister Ann Emmert; his brother in-law Carl Gene Pafford and wife Barbara; numerous nieces, nephews, and blessed with a host of friends.
