Claudie Ray Bridges

Bowie ~ Claudie Ray Bridges, 80, went to be with our Lord Monday, August 30, 2021 in Nocona.

Claudie was born July 12, 1941 to Creed and Mattie Inez (James) Bridges in Headley, Texas. He was united in marriage September 8, 1970 to Carolyn Marie Vinyard in Tomball, Texas. Claudie was a farmer in agriculture all his life. He was a beloved father, papaw, great-papaw, and friend to many who will greatly miss him.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Carolyn Bridges; his son, Ricky Ray Bridges, and daughter, Patsy Bridges; 2 sisters, and 3 brothers.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his sons, Dennis Bridges of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Mitchell Bridges and wife Marcy of Idabel, Oklahoma; his daughters, Karrie Belden and husband Andrew of Bowie, Laurie Watkins of Bowie, and Lorrie Leonard and Don Caswell of Sunset; 20 grandchildren, and 28 great-grandchildren; numerous extended family members and a host of friends.
