Boyd: Clay "ChooChoo" Lisby, 26, a heavy equipment operator, went to be with our Lord Wednesday, January 19, 2011 in Fort Worth.
Funeral is 2 p.m. Sunday at the First Baptist Church of Boyd with burial in Boyd Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Saturday at Christian-Hawkins Funeral Home in Boyd.
Reverend Mark Autry and Reverend Kevin Alexander will officiate. Pallbearers are Rusty Rice, Russell Peebles, Thomas Lambert, Mark Lambert, Aaron Lambert, Derrick Lambert, Shane Smith and Clayton James. Honorary pallbearers are Andy Chapman, Casey Hill, Aaron Brickle, Casey Mauch and Tyler Mauch.
Clay was born February 16, 1984 to Harold and Linda (Lambert) Lisby in San Benito, Texas. He was a graduate of Boyd High School. Clay married Cassie Green on August 24, 2007 in Azle. He was employed by Hammer Construction Company in Bridgeport and was a fireman for the Boyd Volunteer Fire Department. Clay was a member of the First Baptist Church of Boyd and National Rifle Association.
Clay was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Jean Lisby; and grandparents, Hershell and Bernice Lisby.
Left behind to cherish is memory are his wife, Cassie Lisby of Boyd; his son Jayden Tate Lisby of Boyd; his father, Harold Lisby and wife Dana of Boyd; his sister, Shasta Lisby and niece Brooklynn of Boyd; his grandparents, T.H. and Dorothy Lambert of Boyd; aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends.
