Bridgeport Clifford Eugene McClanahan, 80, a retired contractor, went to be with our Lord Wednesday, January 12 in Bridgeport.
Services are private with burial in Elmwood Cemetery in Bowie.
Clifford was born January 13, 1930 to Brutice and Josie Miller McClanahan in Chattanooga, TN. He served his country in the U.S. Army and the Navy during World War II and Korea. He was a member of the Church of God.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Lillie McClanahan; 5 sons, Clifford McClanahan, Jr. and wife Tina of Decatur, IL, Sam McClanahan of Bridgeport, Bruce McClanahan and wife Deborah of Bowie, Randy McClanahan and wife Donna of Ft. Worth, Chris McClanahan of Lewisville; daughters, Jennie Hoffman and husband Randy of Slatton, Donna Walker and husband Joe of Chico; 36 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; other relatives and a host of friends.
