Clifton "Bud" Dale Hales

Denton ~ Clifton D. "Bud" Hales, 89, went to be with our Lord, Tuesday December 10th, 2019 in Denton.

Service is 2 p.m. Friday December 13th, 2019 at The College Hill Church of Christ, 7447 North College Circle, in North Richland Hills, Texas 76180, burial to follow in Paradise Cemetery. Family to receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Bridgeport.

Bud was born on August 19th, 1930 to E.E. (Jack) and Vera Marie (Driggs) Hales in Crane, Texas.

He was united in marriage to Billie (Ramsdale) Hales on February 15th, 1949 in Fort Worth, Texas. They were married for 70 years until his passing.

Bud was a veteran and proudly served our country in the Marines. He was a retired Minister and had previously worked for the United States Postal Service.

Military Honors provided by the Wise County Veteran's Group.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister Betty Jo Hurt.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife Billie Hales of Paradise; his daughter Vicki Hales Cumbie of Hurst; his son; Ricky Hales and wife Yvonne of Denton; 4 grandchildren; Nikki Pipes, Kelly Snodgrass, Frances Hellmich, and Ray Cortright. 9 great grandchildren; Raven, Jaide, Zach, Millie, Scout, Haylon, Kaden, Colt, and Piper. Extended Family and a host of friends.
