Clinton Arnold Sanderson

Boyd ~ Clinton Sanderson, 79, went to be with our Lord Sunday, October 30, 2022 in Dallas.

Funeral is 2pm Friday, Nov. 4, 2022 at Boyd Church of Christ in Boyd with burial at Boyd Cemetery.  Family will receive friends 6-8pm Thursday at Boyd Church of Christ.  Eddie Montgomery and Brent Sanderson will officiate.  Pallbearers include Ronnie Sanderson, Virgle Sanderson, Jr., James Burkett, Jeffrey Sanderson, Cameron Sanderson, Joe Bricker, Jimmy Boster, and Jimmy Smith.

Clinton was born on July 28, 1943 to Eugene and Irene (Norwood) Sanderson in Rotan, TX. He was united in marriage to Mollie Williams on September 18, 1964 in Boyd. Clinton was a long-time member of the Boyd Church of Christ.  Clinton proudly served our country in the United States Army. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother.  He worked many years as a CMT manager at Southwestern Labortories in Fort Worth and Rone Engineers in Dallas.  He enjoyed carpentry, high school football and spending time with his grandkids.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Irene Sanderson; his grandson, Dylan Blair; and his brother, Joe Sanderson.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 58 years, Mollie Sanderson; his son, Stan Sanderson and wife Heather of Rowlett; his daughter, Tara Blair and husband Bill of Argyle; 5 grandchildren, Sidney Sanderson, David Blair, Stella Sanderson, Willie Blair, and Andrew Blair; 4 brothers Virgle Sanderson of Newark, Gerald Sanderson and wife Jodie of Newark, Ron Sanderson and wife Sharon of Granbury, and Mike Sanderson and wife Sharon of Paradise; 2 sisters, Billie Burkett and husband Bill of Jacksboro and Becky Sanderson of Weatherford; his sister-in-law, JoAnn Sanderson of Graham; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
