Clodine Griffin

Weatherford~ Clodine Griffin, 86, went to be with our Lord on Thursday, July 22, 2021 in Bridgeport.

Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 26, 2021 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Bridgeport with burial in Spring Creek Cemetery in Weatherford. Family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.

Chris Hobbs will officiate. Pallbearers will include, Michael Gale, Bryan Gale, Joey Hobbs, Jr., Stephen Walker, Billy Walker, J.B. Giles, Ryan Dunn, and Rodney Dunn.

Clodine was born on January 5, 1935 to T.B. and Dovie (Barton) Allen in Peaster, Texas. She was a retired bookkeeper. Clodine was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister and friend who will be missed by all that knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her grandchild, Lauren Giles; her brothers, Lee Roy and Roy Lee Allen.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her children, Scotty Gale, Jr. and wife Shirley of Paradise, Debbie Hobbs and husband Joseph, Sr. of Bridgeport, and Elizabeth Giles and husband Bryan of Weatherford; her grandchildren, Michael Gale, Bryan Gale, Babby Dunn, Joey Hobbs, Jr., Chris Hobbs, Stephen Walker, Billy Walker, and J.B. Giles; 15 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild; her sisters, Dovie Thompson, Lou Harper, Melcena Johnston, and Bezzie Maynard; her brothers, Louis Allen and Kenneth Allen; numerous extended family members and a host of friends.
