Rhome ~ Clyde Sylvester Warner, 77, a retired communications technician, went to be with our Lord Thursday, March 22, 2012 in Grapevine.

Funeral is 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 26th at Christian-Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Boyd with burial in Cundiff Cemetery in Chico. Family will receive friends 3-5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Nolan Warner will officiate and be assisted by David Warner and Leon Coleman. Pallbearers include Dale Gilliam III, Denton Gilliam, Thomas Keller, Tim Warner, Zack McClary and Mark McClary.

Clyde was born on May 27, 1934 to Richard and Alziabee (McDaniel) Warner in Bridgeport. He served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. Clyde was united in marriage to Haiying Ding on June 26, 2000 in Shang Hai, China. He loved traveling, fishing, animals, country music, flying, his family, playing 42 and dominoes and watching the Dallas Cowboys. Clyde was a longtime ham radio operator, WA50YK.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brothers, Gilbert, Wayne, and Morris Warner.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 11 years, Haiying Warner of Rhome; his son, Nolan Warner of Decatur; his daughter, Debbie Males and husband Steve of Decatur; 4 grandchildren, Dale Gilliam III and wife Rachel of Dallas, Dawn Keller and husband Thomas of Fort Worth, Denton Gilliam of Paradise, and Kelsey Males of Lindsay, Oklahoma; his great grandchild, Cameron Keller; his sisters, Mary McClary and Vadis Simmons; his brothers, Davidr, Norman, and Jim Warner; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, HongLiang Ding and Xuezhen Xu; his brothers-in-law, Lisheng Ding and wife Yanhong Cheng, Xuedong Ding and wife Zhaofang Kong; his nephews, Yanqing and Tianchen Ding, numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to a charity of choice.
