Connie Travis Foster

Boyd ~ Connie Travis Foster, 84, a retired mechanical engineer, went to be with our Lord on Monday, January 11, 2016 in Dallas.
Funeral is 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 14, 2016, at Christian-Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Pleasant Grove #1 Cemetery, Decatur. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Rev. Dr Victor J. Kollmann will officiate. Pallbearers include Dr Travis Foster, Dr Eric Foster, Dr Mark Foster, Shawn Foster, Neil Foster and Jeff Foster.
Connie was born October 1, 1931 to William and Ila (Russell) Foster in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was united in marriage to Lillian Laverne Holzman on October 10, 1952 in Dallas. Connie was a member of the Messiah Lutheran Church in Richardson.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 63 years, Laverne Foster; his sons, Dr Travis Foster of Dallas, Dr Eric Foster and wife Bonnie of Colleyville, Dr Mark Foster and wife Susan of Ponder; his grandchildren Caroline, Shawn, Neil, Jenny and Conner; his brother Deryl Foster of Austin; his nephew Jeff Foster of Austin; and a host of friends.
