Boyd~ Connie Lynn Freehling, 52, went to be with our Lord Wednesday, September 18, 2019, in Fort Worth.
Funeral is 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 21, 2019 at First Baptist Church Boyd with burial at Hog Branch Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Boyd.
Rev. Mark Autry will officiate. Pallbearers include Tim Hieb, Jayson Wilson, Noel Lopez, Henry Davis, Gavin Blair, and Eddie Mcclellan. Honorary Pallbearers include Jesse Sullivan, Colton Sullivan, Braxton Cappaert, Vincent Stark, and Easton Freehling.
Connie was born September 26, 1966, to Lamar and Wanda (Akard) May in Grapevine, Texas.She was united in marriage to Ron Freehling on June 4, 1994, in Hurst, Texas.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 25 years, Ron Freehling of Boyd; her son, Travis Freehling and wife Kayleigh of Decatur; her daughters, Heather Freehling of Boyd, and Heidi Sullivan and husband Joey of Eagleville, Tennessee; 8 grandchildren, Hailey, Christian, Jesse, Braxton, Colton, Vincent, Easton and Claire; her parents, Lamar and Wanda May of Southlake; her special friends, Tony Castillo and Eddie Mcclellan; extended family and a host of friends.
