Chico~ Connie Lavone Mayo, 67, went to be with our Lord on Friday, May 13, 2022 in Chico.
Graveside will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at Ryan Cemetery in Ryan, Oklahoma. Family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport.
Connie was born on September 23, 1954 to Bobby Lee and Etta (Perkins) Osborn in Olney, Texas. She was united in marriage to the love of her life, Robert Michael Mayo on December 9, 1974 in Wichita Falls and together 41 wonderful years until his passing on November 12, 2016. Connie worked in customer service and was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her mother, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She loved watching bull riding. Connie was a loving daughter, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be missed by all that knew and loved her so much.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Michael Mayo.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her mother, Etta Osborn of Poolville; her daughter, Tonnie Jaramillo of Chico; her daughter, Michelle Herndon of Paradise; her son-in-law, Keven Herndon of Paradise; her grandson, Shawn Herndon of McGregor, Texas; her granddaughter, Sadyee Herndon of Galveston; her great-granddaughters, Charlette and Delilah Herndon of McGregor, Texas; numerous extended family members and a host of good friends.
