Bridgeport ~ Corky Patterson, 57, a rancher and truck driver, went to be with our Lord Wednesday, November 2, 2016 in Decatur
Graveside service is 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 5, 2016 at Chico Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Hawkins Funeral Home.
Rev. Gerre Joiner will offciate. Pallbearers include Tony Stone, Brent Choate, Danny Lutz, Chris Stone, Taylor Choate, and Michael Murray. Honorary Pallbearer is Ben Stone.
Corky was born on April 23, 1959 to Oliver Newton Jr. and Dorothy Lee (Hendon) Patterson in Amarillo.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his stepmother, Patsy Jo Patterson.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his children, Tiffany Newell and husband Jerry of Woodward, Oklahoma, Stephanie Broadfoot and husband Tyson of Verdigris, Oklahoma, Justin Norris and wife Crystal of Atoka, Oklahoma, Wade Patterson of Copperas Cove, Texas, Ashley Patterson of Bridgeport; 11 grandchildren; his brothers, Bill Choate and wife Bennie of Bowie, Kelly Choate and wife Michelle of Krum, Van Choate and wife Sherry of Bridgeport; his sisters, Rebecca Elam and husband Wayne of Bridgeport, Susan Murray of Bowie, Mary Washburn of Alvord; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
