Cornelia Jernigen Pinkerton Cain, 93, an assembler electronic, went to be with our Lord Monday, June 6, 2016 in Haltom City.
Graveside service is 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 11, 2016 at Oaklawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends 9:30-10:30 a.m. Saturday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.
Bill Hughes will officiate.
Cornelia was born on March 23, 1923 to William Jernigen and Agnes (Beall) in New Orleans, Louisiana. She was united in marriage to Pete Cain in Las Vegas, Nevada. Cornelia was a member of the Rendon Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Emmett Fate Pinkerton, her second husband, Pete Cain; and her son, Kenneth Pinkerton.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sons, Charles Pinkerton and wife Ginger of North Richland Hills, Rick Pinkerton and wife Linda of Lubbock; 10 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; numerous other family, and a host of friends.
