Curtis was born on April 17, 1941 in Fort Worth, Texas to Guy Byron and Gracie Lee (Taylor) Bell. He was a graduate of North Side High School in 1959. Curtis was united in marriage to Donna Jean Chandler on October 8, 1983 in Roanoke, Texas.
Curtis had many interests from raising chickens, racing Greyhounds, to restoring old cars. He loved spending time with this wife, Donna and just talking to his friends. He never met a stranger.
Curtis is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Donna Bell; 2 daughters, Kelly Mitchell and husband Woody of Hurst, Jennifer Fisher and husband Mark of Haltom City; son, Scott Walters and wife Mary of Little Elm; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren; other relatives and a host of friends.
