Decatur: Curtis Roy Young, Jr., 69, a heavy equipment operator, went to be with our Lord, Tuesday, October 19, 2010 in Fort Worth.
Funeral service is 10:30 a.m. Friday, October 22nd at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home. Interment: Pleasant Grove Cemetery No. 1. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.
Curtis was born March 25, 1941 in Decatur to Curtis Roy "Buck" Young, Sr. and Lena Marie New. He served in the United States Air Force.
Left behind to cherish his memory are companion, Donna Jackson of Saginaw; brother, Dennis "Dusty" Ray Young of Blue Mound; three sisters, Terry DeBo and husband, Vance of Saginaw, Kelly Bramlett and husband, Clay of Decatur, and Carolyn Tritt of Georgia; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends.
Curtis was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Carl Young; three sisters, Linda Marie Huggins, Charisse Stevens and Sheila Joy Moss.
