Decatur ~ C.W. "Hoot" Hall, 80, of Decatur, a retired truck driver for Bell Helicopter, went to be with our Lord, Thursday, January 10, 2013 in Decatur, Texas.
Funeral is 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 14, at Morris Memorial United Methodist Church in Chico. Rev. Rick Davis will officiate. Graveside service will be at 2:30 p.m. in Westover Cemetery in Westover, Texas. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.
Hoot was born July 21, 1932 in Westover, Texas to Joe and Carrie (Bean) Hall. He married Bonnie Welch on September 8, 1951 in Altus, Oklahoma. He was a member of Morris Memorial United Methodist Church in Chico.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 61 years, Bonnie Hall of Decatur; daughter, Carla Price and husband Rodney of Decatur; 2 sons, Bobby Wayne Hall and wife Laurel of White Settlement, and Ronald Dale Hall and wife Emilee of Weatherford; 7 grandsons; 11 great-grandchildren; brother, Louis Hall and wife Dolores of Azle; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Johnnie B. Brock.
