Boyd ~ Cynthia F. Chick Boaz Jones, 80, a retired assistant apartment manager, went to be with our Lord Friday, January 27, 2012 in Decatur.
Memorial service is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at Chisholm Trail Baptist Church in Rhome.
Cynthia was born on January 4, 1932 to Theron and Fern (Smith) Chick in Enid, Oklahoma.
Cynthia was preceded in death by her first husband, John W. Boaz I, 2 sisters, and 1 brother. She married Chester C. Jones in March 1990 in Colleyville.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband, Chester C. Jones of Mansfield; her sons, Richard Louis Boaz of Dallas, John W. Boaz II and wife Pam of Brookshire, Texas, and Paul K. Boaz and wife Julie of Boyd; her daughters, Belinda K. Cheatum and husband Chuck of Brookshire, and Cynthia A. Hill of Brookshire; 8 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; her brother, Rev. T.H. Chick; her sisters, Judy Stewart, Sandra Doman, and Lucinda Miller; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
