Decatur ~ Daisy Ann Pinkerton, 92, a homemaker, went to be with our Lord Monday, January 15, 2018 in Decatur.
Funeral is 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Trinity Fellowship Church with burial in Oaklawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.
Bill Austin will officiate. Pallbearers include Brent Mann, Blake Alexander, Brett Alexander, Kyle Alexander, Ross Alexander, and Bryce Alexander. Honorary pallbearers are Janet Armstrong, Dr. Kelly Tibbels, Cody Gillispie, Earl Doherty, Herb Williams, Ken Cannon, and Larry Michener.
Daisy was born on December 12, 1925 to Joshua and Ione Virginia (Raney) Whitaker in Alvord, Texas. She was united in marriage to Raymond Ashley Pinkerton Jr. on August 3, 1941 in Lawton, Oklahoma.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Raymond Ashley Pinkerton Jr.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughters, Virginia Ann Mann of Greenwood, Helen Lynn Alexander and husband Don of Decatur; her grandchildren, Janet Armstrong and husband Neil of Bridgeport, Brent Mann of Greenwood, Blake Alexander and wife Lori of Fort Sam Houston, San Antonio and Brett Alexander and wife Tammy of Indianapolis, Indiana; 7 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
