DECATUR: Daniel William Grmela, 78, of Decatur, went to be with our Lord Wednesday, September 5, 2012 in Decatur.
Graveside service is 11:15 a.m. Tuesday, September 10th at DFW National Cemetery in Grand Prairie, Texas.
Daniel was born on July 25, 1933 in West, Texas to Will and Bessie (Macha) Grmela. He served his country in the United States Army from 1953 to 1955. He is preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Scott and his parents.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his daughters, Cindy Rose and husband Doug of North Richland Hills, and Wendy Davis and husband Jackie of Decatur; 2 grandsons, Justin Rose and wife Laura of Fort Worth, and Travis Rose of Vernon; 1 great-granddaughter, Jocelyn Rose of Fort Worth; sister, Wilma Marek of Waco; and best friend, Robert Harriss of Euless; numerous nieces and nephews.
